Building & Garden Design

J. H. Mackey has renovated several buildings and their gardens, including recently designing a second residence for a 1.2 acre property. When designing gardens, she chooses plants that are edible, medicinal, fragrant, or especially beautiful.
In her most recent garden design, she included a boules court and a croquet lawn, both with unique designs, a small tea plantation of 70 plants, and natural looking slope drainage using swales and water gardens in addition to underground drainage.
